Updating bluetooth stack
The implementation supports all layers of the Bluetooth protocol.
The first ports for the Controller part are to n RF51 Series and n RF52 So Cs from Nordic Semiconductors.
This stack also allows use of RFCOMM without creating a virtual serial port in the operating system.
As of 2006, the Blue Z stack supports all core Bluetooth protocols and layers.The stack was initially developed by a company named Widcomm Inc., which was acquired by Broadcom Corporation in April 2004.
